The Broken Circle Breakdown (2012)

The story takes place in Ghent, Belgium, where the tattooed Alice (Viera Beatans Veerle Baetens) runs a tattoo shop. The hurt caused by love has made her learn to bury her true feelings deep in her heart. Although she looks cheerful and unrestrained on the surface, Alice is still stabbed by painful memories from time to time when alone. Didier (John Haldenberg Johan Heldenbergh) is the band's banjo player. He lives a free life all day long. Between singing and dancing, Didier never gives up his dream of going to the United States. It is two people with very different personalities who meet and fall in love, and it is not long before a baby girl named Maybelle (Neil Kate Lesser Nell Cattrysse) is born. While Alice and Didier were immersed in happiness, Maybelle was found to be suffering from an incurable disease. Faced with such terrible news, the world of the couple collapsed.
