In 1942, Eric Eriksson, a Swedish American oil businessman living in Stockholm, suddenly found himself on the blacklist of Nazi collaborators in the United States. All this was arranged by allied intelligence agencies to force Eric to become a spy because he could easily get in and out of Germany. The helpless Eric had to give in, and he began to show his closeness to the Nazis, even at the expense of his closest Jewish friend, Kanpur. Friends and relatives alienated him, but only Kanpur secretly believed that Eric had an unspeakable reason for doing so. Soon, Eric got involved with the Germans and dragged down the German oil giant Sir Gerhard Orandolph and oil businessman Otto Hoz to form a spy team, code-named "Ryder". At the same time, Eric got in touch with Mariana, a member of the religious German underground resistance. Joe pretended to be a lover, fooled the surveillance Gestapo, kept memorizing the information she provided and brought it back to Sweden. Eric and Mariana fell in love with each other because of family misfortune for their career. Although Eric is a new recruit in the sea of espionage, he is calm and resolute and has avoided danger many times. Thanks to O'Randolph 's efforts, Eric won.
