The Crash Reel (2013)
This film records the epic showdown between Shaun White and Kevin Pearce, a half-tube skiing legend and childhood friend. Fifteen years of follow-up filming shows the veritable competition between them, as well as some influential events during the period. While Shaun and Kevin continue to challenge more dangerous skills, they become world champions and runners-up respectively at the Vancouver Winter Olympics. After Kevin slowly recovered from a near-fatal accident, Shaun won the gold medal and raised the standard of the sport again to almost unparalleled heights. Now the only thing Kevin wants to do is get back on the snowboard, regardless of the doctor's opposition and the panic of his family. Kevin's move may end his competitive career or even his life.
