The Crazies (1973)

A military plane carrying samples of the latest biological and biological weapons crashed into a mountain near a town in Pennsylvania, sending broken biological samples into the water. People who have drunk infected water sources either died of poisoning, or committed suicide by self-harm. Colonel Paikom (Lloyd Hollar) and Dr. Wyatz (Richard France) are ordered by the president to lead an army and a medical team to the town in an attempt to control the spread of the virus. However, the virus has spread so rapidly that the town has reached an irredeemable point. Washington has made a decision to completely destroy the town and the infected people with nuclear weapons, killing any personality who tries to escape. People who tremble in order to survive have to face the impending doom.
