The Dead and the Others (2018)

Tonight, peace hangs over the forest that surrounds the village. When people fell asleep, the forest woke up. Ihj ã c, a young man living in Krah ô in northern Brazil, has had nightmares since his father's death. He walked in the dark, sweaty and careful at every step. Suddenly, a song came from afar, through the palm forest. This is his dead father summoning him. In order for his father's soul to rest in peace and go to the land of the dead, he must organize a funeral ceremony. But Ihj ã c did not do its job and refused to become a shaman. He decided to flee to the city, away from his countrymen and culture. But as an aboriginal living in Brazil, he had to face the difficult reality.
