For Maruger (Oliver Lido Oliver Litondo), learning is the happiest thing in his life. However, at the age of 84, he can no longer relive his happy time in class. The free education policy in Kenya has given Marug new hope, and he hopes to be one of the many students who will benefit. Maruge's persistence and enthusiasm moved the teacher Jane (Naomi Harris Naomie Harris) but failed to move the school staff and parents. The voice of opposition to the return of such a veteran to the classroom surrounded by a group of children is unified and loud. At the same time, Jane was punished for supporting Marug. Seeing that the kind people who helped him had been treated unfairly, the angry Marug decided not to give in and challenged the rigid government.
