The First Monday in May (2016)
On the first Monday of May, the whole of New York is ready, and the whole world is holding its breath. The Met charity dinner is not only a feast, it records the changes of fashion, but also opens the prelude to the annual fashion show in the metropolis. The exhibition, entitled "China: mirrored Flower Moon", was jointly created by Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of "Vogue", Andrew Bolton, curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and director Wong Kar-wai. The number of visitors broke the record of more than 800000. This film is a direct attack on this rare event, from the process of preparing for the exhibition, the shadows of Georgie Guni and Anne Shafei on the red carpet, to the precious works of master YSL and John Galliano. Let us always remember that on the first Monday in May 2015, Rihanna, wearing a dragon robe, took us through the beautiful moon in China. This film is the opening Film of the American Tribeca Film Festival.
