Adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name published in 2007, it was created by the novelist Jin Xun. The film is funded and distributed by CJ EpistamptM and directed by Huang Dong-hyuk, the director of films such as "my Father", "the melting pot" and "the Strange her". Filming is expected to start in the second half of the year. Li Bingxian will play Cui Mingji, who strives for peace for the lives of the people, while Kim Yun-shik will play Jin Changxuan, advocating a struggle against the forbidden guards of the Korean dynasty.
