Two robbers broke into a Telegraph room at a railway station, forced the Telegraph operator to send a signal to the train, and then tied up the Telegraph operator. As the train approached, the robbers sneaked onto the train. Then the robbers stopped the train, drove all the passengers off the train and plundered them of all their money. After success, four robbers fled to the prairie to share the spoils. At the same time, a little girl saved the Telegraph operator, who then rushed to the police station to report the case. A group of police began to chase the robbers, and the two sides fought fiercely on the prairie, and the four robbers were eventually killed one by one. The Great Train robbery, based on a real robbery in the United States in 1900, tells a more complicated story with 14 scenes. It is Bauter's first western film.
