The Grim Reaper (1962)

The story begins with a murder in Rome. A prostitute was killed in a park by the Tiber River. several people who showed up at the scene on the night of the crime were questioned by the police: the penniless young man Candy claimed to be looking for a job recently. however, the fact is that he and his two companions were waiting for an opportunity to steal from their lovers in the park; Bustelli, a habitual criminal who had not dealt with the police for a long time, dated his lover during the day of the crime, and then had a big fight with his money-lending girlfriend. Soldier Teodoro was pestering strange women in the street that day. He fell asleep on a park bench, but witnessed a suspicious man in slippers. The suspicious man came to the case and confessed his experience to the police on that day. At the same time, he introduced a pair of bored young people into the case. The truth finally came out at last. This film is the debut of the famous Italian director Bertolucci, based on Pasolini's novel.
