The Gruffalo (2009)
In the quiet and vast forest, the mother squirrel goes around looking for nuts for her children. But the predators prowled, and she and the children had to stay in the nest. Unable to bear the pleas of the two little guys, the mother squirrel told the story of a grunt cow: once upon a time, there was a kind and clever little brown mouse (voiced by James Corden) who was walking in the forest and was attacked by foxes, owls and poisonous snakes. In a hurry, the little brown mouse claimed to meet his friend Gollum Niu. The Gollum cow is large, scary-looking, and especially likes to eat foxes, owls and poisonous snakes. His big words scared off the predators, but the best is yet to come. The film, based on the original book of the same name by British writer Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, was broadcast on BBC at Christmas.
