The Handmaid's Tale (2017 - 2022)
The story tells of the serious pollution in the future, the sharp decline in the birth rate, the establishment of the male totalitarian society Gilead in some parts of the United States after the bloody revolution, the polygamy of those in power, women being regarded as state-owned property, and fertile women called "maids", forced to be used as the reproductive tools of the ruling class, and the heroine Offred is one of them. She wanders between the ruler, the ferocious "wife" of the ruler, and the "Martha", an elderly woman who does housework for the ruler, trying to find her daughter who has been taken away while she lives.
