At the end of the curtain, the samurai family, which has served as a stand-in for generals for generations, began to decline. Yansi Lang (wife and husband Mucong) had nothing to learn, but it was useless. When he came to work as an old-age son-in-law, he got divorced and was ridiculed by his sister-in-law when he returned home. Hoping for luck, Yansilang worshiped the god of grain under the advice of his friend and boss soba noodles (Kawakawa Zhaozhi). He worshiped the god of poverty (Minxing Nishida) and brought bad luck with him. As the saying goes, it never rains but it pours. Yansilang finally sends away the god of poverty, but the god of plague (Hidewa Akai) and the god of death (Mori Yongyi) follow, and his misfortune seems to be endless. Adapted from Jiro ASADA's novel of the same name.
