The United States of America, a country that boasts freedom and democracy. Young people who seem to waste their youth have patriotic feelings no less than their peers in any other country. Both men and women will always sign up to join the army and do their part for the motherland. This group of girls who have served in the army have both infinite pride and a tragic past that they cannot bear to look back on. According to statistics, 20% of women have been sexually assaulted during the military, and the number of reports has increased step by step every year, which has not been effectively curbed. They endure unimaginable pain in body and mind, and even after many years, the painful memories of the past still afflict their spirit and soul. Even some men have been ravaged and trampled on. Unfortunately, the trauma of the victims seems to have been deliberately forgotten, which has become the shadow of a free country. The film won the 2012 San Diego Film critics Association Best documentary Award and the 2012 Sundance Film Festival audience Award for Best documentary.
