After two years of fugitive life, "jungle bandit" Ben Hall considered turning himself in, but later met his old friend John Gilbert, who persuaded Ben to return to his old job. With the addition of the new member John Dunn, they began to commit crimes again, and it was not long before the three of them became the most wanted men in the British Empire. When they were about to be sentenced as fugitives, they decided to flee the colony forever. When Ben left to give an account of his injured past, their trusted friend tipped off their whereabouts to the police. The police then set an ingenious trap, and Ben Hall was left alone on the cold morning of May 5, 1865. So it became a legend forever.
