The Legend of Cocaine Island (2018)
Rodney Hayden is an American dreamer: a small business owner and housewife living in central Florida. After going bankrupt under the influence of the Great Depression, he heard a story about maps, islands and treasures, which may be an opportunity for him to get rid of his growing debt. Spurred by economic despair and confusion, Rodney developed a plan to find the legendary $2 million worth of cocaine from the reported Caribbean treasure collection. In this way, Rodney embarked on a journey to pursue his American dream. Although he had no previous experience of drug trafficking, he achieved unexpected results with the help of a group of juvenile delinquents of different colors. The Legend of cocaine Island, directed by Theorov and co-produced by Sidestilt and Dreamco Pictures, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018 (the previous film was titled "White Tide: The Legend of Culebra").
