Peter never gave up looking for his sister whose life or death is uncertain. He met a fortune-teller in the bazaar and told him that as long as he found a mysterious elephant and a magician who could make an elephant, he would know the whereabouts of his sister. In order to accomplish three impossible tasks, Peter embarked on a tortuous and heart-wrenching journey. If he really succeeds, not only his life will be affected, but the town where he lives will change forever. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Kate DiCamillo, a writer who has won the Newberry Prize for Children's Literature for the second time.
