Feiyinger, a little Jewish girl, lives with her father and grandmother in a small village in Russia. Her father went to the United States in order to make a living, hoping to continue her singing career. Shortly after her father left, the village was ransacked, and Feiyinger escaped with the two boys. When she was about to board the ship for the United States, she got separated from them and boarded the cruise ship to England. But luckily, a couple adopted her and changed her name to Susie, and as an adult, Susie (Christina Ritchie Christina Ricci) was admitted by the song and dance troupe and came to Paris. During this time, she meets the materialistic Lola (Kate Blanchett Cate Blanchett) and the greedy singer Dante (John Turturro John Turturro), as well as the mysterious gypsy horse Caesar (Johnny Depp Johnny Depp). Day by day, the iron feet of the Nazis approached Paris. Unfortunately, Susie's Jewish blood was discovered by Dante.
