The Martha Mitchell Effect (2022)

Nixon once said that if it hadn't been for Martha, Watergate would never have happened. The archival documentary tells the story of Martha Mitchell, the first whistle of Watergate: in order to shut up Martha, the Nixon administration manipulated gas lights in external propaganda, portraying her as a crazy woman. Through these historical archives, we can re-examine the Watergate incident from Martha's female perspective.
