A stable state of mind, exquisite tricks, and invisibility are essential qualities of a top killer. Arthur (Jason Statham Jason Statham) has been in the industry for many years and has become an excellent machine with the help of his former partner Harry (Donald Sutherland Donald Sutherland). Arthur received a new mission to assassinate Harry. Although Arthur could not bear to do it, after knowing clearly that Harry was bound to die, he finally decided to give Harry a ride in person. Harry's son Steve (Ben Foster Ben Foster) is determined to learn from Arthur in order to avenge his father. Under Arthur's training, Steve gradually mastered the necessary skills as a mechanic and worked with Arthur to complete one assassination mission after another. Although Arthur never told Steve who killed Harry, Steve knew that his father was killed by Arthur, and the flames of vengeance rose in Steve's heart. The film was remade from the 1972 film of the same name, with an investment of about $40 million.
