The play is adapted from a novel of the same name. Midwick, an English town where office workers live, is free, enlightened and eager for progress, made up of small families and rich people's streets. There is not much happening here, and there is a good reason for it. Until one summer dusk, a quiet part of the town was in a panic. People faint without warning and for no reason, and so will anyone who tries to enter the area. No one understands why. When the mysterious blackout was lifted, people affected by the incident gradually returned to normal lives, with the exception of every woman of childbearing age in the area who suddenly became pregnant for no reason. As the news spread, the situation became more and more tense, and people who had experienced this emotional shock needed help, and Dr. Susannah Zellaby, a talented psychotherapist, took the responsibility. Susannah's daughter Cassie, who is pregnant, is deeply concerned about who is behind the phenomenon. Senior Inspector Paul Kirby, a local police officer, is in charge of maintaining order, but what people do not know is that a frightening force is gathering in the comfortable streets of the town. These children may be potentially sent.
