Through the efforts of the villagers, the monastery was renovated and gradually expanded to 12 priests. Twelve priests found an abandoned baby on the day of the San Marcelino sacrifice and thought it was a gift from God, so they named it Marcelino. After five years, little Marcelino grew up into an angel-like boy under the careful care of 12 priests. He regarded the priests as 12 fathers, but he also missed his mother who had heard that she was in heaven. Little Marcelino was taken to town to play, but got into trouble, so the priests punished him not to go to the attic, scaring him that there was a giant who could eat people upstairs. One day a curious little Marcelino plucked up all his courage to go up to the roof and didn't see the giant, but he saw the statue of Jesus crucified, feeling that he seemed cold and hungry, so he brought him food and bed sheets to ward off the cold and talked to him, asking him if he also had a mother, if he loved her, where his mother was, the image of Jesus said he also had a mother, and her mother was in heaven. ...
