The Motel (2005)

About ◎ this film tells the story of a little boy who grew up in a motel. When Sam checked into a motel, he decided to teach Ernest, who lost his father at a young age, how to become a man within a week. Ernest Chin, 13, works part-time at a low-end inn on the side of the highway. His family did not understand him, and Ernest, who was in adolescence, was isolated and helpless. So he made friends with Sam Kim, a Korean resident who was a little self-defeating but charming. Sam gave the fatherless child fatherly warmth and taught him how to grow up.
