Raymond (Javier Barden Javier Bardem) was paralyzed in an accident during a jump into the sea. Originally handsome and strong, he was going to spend the rest of his life suffering. After 26 years of living in pain that no one can understand, he has been unable to grasp the meaning of living. He applied for euthanasia again and again, but could not be approved. He hired a lawyer Julia (Belle é n Rueda), this woman slowly agreed with his point of view in getting along with Raymond, she unfortunately also suffered from terminal illness, the two people more sympathize with each other.
