Quinn Quinn (Scott Glenn) and Willie Willy (Eamon Morrissey) are fishermen who watch heaven eat. One day, when they go fishing together and get nothing, they are discouraged when they see a fishing boat driven by a man named Don Xi Dunhill, full of fish. They found it quite incredible, and what is even more curious was that there was a beautiful woman named Merry Mairead (affron Burrows) on Tang Xi's ship. Quinn's eyes could not be removed from Mellie's body. That night, Mellie showed up in front of Quinn's house and told Quinn that she had been imprisoned by Tang Xi because she had magical powers and could bring a lot of fish to people who depend on the sea for a living. She hoped that Quinn could help her escape from Tang Xi. Since Quinn's wife died five years ago, he has isolated himself, had little contact with the outside world, and has been living in self-pity, and the appearance of Meili brought him out of the world of self-pity. He let Mellie live on his side temporarily, and the two talked to each other for so many years.
