In the mind of Dave (Tim Allen Tim Allen), work always comes first, and his wife and children have to make way for his career. Had it not been for this accident, he might never have realized the importance of his family. Dave launched an investigation after receiving a case of an animal experiment, only to deal with a long-haired dog: the long-haired dog bit him and gave him a bizarre virus that reengineered his genes. Now, Dave has become a long-haired dog and a long-haired dog has become Dave. Their lives changed with each other, and no one in the family knew that the poor and lovely long-haired dog was his own relative. Dave only lived a dog-like life and watched the long-haired dog with zero IQ occupy the position of the head of his family. More worryingly, Dave, a dog, finally had time to watch how his family lived and realized that he had given them too little love in the past. But in Dave's current condition, there seems to be nothing but regret.
