The Slipper and the Rose: The Story of Cinderella (1976)
In the vast history, it is not uncommon for the state to engage in political marriages for self-protection, and Prince Edward (Richard Chapland Richard Chamberlain) has to face such a situation. In order to protect the country from other countries, he must marry a woman he does not love at all. Unfortunately, Prince Edward was a man of moderate temperament and refused to give way. In desperation, the king decided to hold an unprecedented ball, bringing together all kinds of socialites from all over the country, hoping to have the prince's sweetheart in it. After her father's death, Cinderella (Gemma Craven Gemma Craven) becomes a lonely orphan, and her stepmother's harsh abuse almost reduced her to a happy maid. The fairy (Annette Crosby Annette Crosbie) sympathizes with Cinderella, uses magic to dress her up and sends her to the prince's ball. In this way, the prince fell in love with Cinderella, but just as he was about to confess his love, Cinderella's magic disappeared. In panic, Cinderella escaped, leaving only a crystal slipper.
