Edmund (Louis Jordan Louis Jourdan) is a vibrant young sailor, he is full of enthusiasm for life, friendly personality for him to make a lot of friends in the world. Mercedes (Yvonne Funux Yvonne Furneaux) is Edmund's beloved girl, and when Edmund returns to land after completing the sea operation, the two are ready to get married. Unfortunately, Edmund's happiness makes his rival Fernando (Jean-Claude Michel) jealous, and he and the obscure judge Wilfer (Bernard Dh é ran) send Edmund to prison on trumped-up charges. Seventeen years later, with the help of his cellmates, Edmund, who was full of hatred, succeeded in escaping from prison.
