The Terror (2018 - 2019)
AMC's "The Terror", which is based on Dan Simmons's 2007 novel of the same name, has directly booked 10 episodes and is now scheduled for its premiere on March 26th, US time. The series, written by David Kajganich, tells the story of the Royal Navy Horror exploring the Arctic Circle's Northwest Passage (Northwest Passage) in 1847 when its ship was attacked by some unknown predator, so the crew had to fight for survival. The novel is based on the stories of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror led by John Franklin reality. Jared Harris plays Francis Crozier, the captain of the Horror, the second commander of the expedition, a wise sailor and captain, but being an Irishman brings him to a bottleneck in the career of the Royal Navy (original text is glass ceiling, which means that promotion is restricted even though not explicitly stated, because of one's gender or identity or for some own reason.
