The background is in the Nazi-occupied territory of Poland during World War II. Several Polish soldiers brutally killed a woman, her son and wife. The husband and his father fled to the forest. The young man decided to take part in the war of resistance, but the Gestapo killed his messenger and hunted him when they first met. While on the run, he delivered a pregnant woman in an apartment. He works in the center of the typhoid clinic. After being vaccinated, he became the experimental subject of the study.
