The story tells the story of a boy of about 13 years old, Cody, who is not only an excellent swimmer at school, but also has a family that always loves and supports him. Life can be said to be very satisfactory, but everything changed on the eve of his thirteenth birthday. Cody found that his body seemed to be a little unusual, because after he came into contact with water, his skin actually grew scales like a fish! After he inquired painstakingly, he found that he was originally an abandoned baby picked up by his parents on the coast, not his own. It was only later that Cody discovered that his biological mother was a mermaid, so Cody didn't have these physiological changes until puberty, and his mother was always waiting on the coast, risking the risk of being hunted by other villains, hoping that one day Cody could return to the sea with her.
