The Water Diary (2006)
The little girl and her family live on a vast farm in Australia. They play freely and live a joyful life every day. There are two sturdy horses named poppy and Cher on the farm. They are the children's closest friends. The girl is always looking forward to riding a pony and becoming a chic rider. One day, the girl after school found that the horses had disappeared. Her father kept saying that he had sent them to his friends, but the horses never came back. At the same time, the great drought hit the farm, and God was so stingy that he hadn't had a drop of rain for a long time. People's lives are greatly affected. They don't know when the showers will fall, let alone where their hopes will be. The teenagers United and carried out a pious ceremony of praying for rain. This film is a short film shot by director Jane Kangping to promote the United Nations Millennium Program with the theme of "facing up to Global Environment and Climate change".
