The film tells the story of an American widow (Candice Bergen) and her children kidnapped by the head of an Arab bandit in the desert of the Middle East in 1904, which makes the US government nervous. President Roosevelt decides to send troops to take her back. In the end, the widow took action to influence the bandit leader (played by Xin Connery) to avoid a murder.
