In 1982, the legendary British heavy metal band Spinal Tap rock band became a hit. Film director Marty (Rob Lerner Rob Reiner) is a loyal fan of the Spinal Tap band. The Spinal Tap band is coming to the United States for a comeback tour, while Marty is shooting an accompanying documentary for the Spinal Tap band. This imitation documentary deliberately fabricates a British rock band Spinal Tap, which vividly depicts the inconsistent faces of the rock band on and off the stage, and makes a sharp satire and mockery of contemporary rock music.
