Apple will adapt the 1981 fantasy comedy "Time Bandits" into a series, with Taiga Viditi ("Thor 3" and "Hunting the Barbarians") directing and writing the first episode. Directed by Terry Gilliam and starred by John Chris, Sean Connery and others, the film tells the crazy story of British boy Kevin spanning multiple dimensions. He finds a time hole in his wardrobe. Six dwarfs come out of the hole and take Kevin on a series of adventures through history. They have stopped in ancient Greece, the Middle Ages, the Napoleonic era and the early 20th century, and before reaching the ultimate dark fortress, they encounter evil things.
