Veteran professor Edward Joston (Billy Connolly Billy Connolly) is a historian dedicated to medieval archaeology, and it has always been his lifelong wish to excavate La Locke Castle left over from the 14th century. however, it is only today that Robert (David Thewlis David Thewlis), president of an international technology company, is willing to invest in the project. Jost's wish has finally come true. He and his son Chris (Paul Walker Paul Walker) set up an archaeological team to explore the ancient battlefield in France. However, during a very common excavation, members of the archaeological team found a 1357 distress note signed by Professor Joston, and the professor's glasses were also found nearby, but it has been more than 600 years since. The puzzled team members went to the investor Robert and knew that the ambitious Robert had secretly invented a time machine that could go through a wormhole to send people back to 1357. Faced with this terrible and magical tool, Chris decided to lead his members back to the Middle Ages to save his father. However, none of them can predict in the wormhole.
