Weather announcer Susan (Nick Kidman Nicole Kidman) became the focus of the media for the murder of her suspected husband, and interviews with several parties gradually revealed the process of the incident. Determined to pursue a career in journalism, Susan, despite the opposition of her husband Raleigh (Matt Dillon Matt Dillon)'s Italian family, went all out to prepare for her career, and eventually hired a local cable TV station with only two staff as a "weather girl".
