"Interior Design" Hiroko (Fumiko Fujitani) and her boyfriend Amin (Karase Ryo) with a director's dream come to metropolitan Tokyo, where they have to live temporarily in the apartment of Hiroko's good friend Zhu Mei Shimizu (Takeshi Ito). In order to make a living, the two looked everywhere for work and accommodation, but all the way was bumpy. Ah Ming's work was finally shown in a small cinema. Looking at her boyfriend's happy appearance, Hongzi felt more and more worthless, like a discarded chair. Maeder (Denis Lavant), a twisted and grotesque madman, emerges from the sewers and takes to the streets to harass passers-by.
