Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd Dan Aykroyd), a successful Wall Street investor. Black Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy Eddie Murphy), a homeless man dressed as a disabled soldier and begging on the street in order to beg for food. Two people living in very different worlds actually changed their fate because of a bet. Louis works in Randolph, the Duke of Mortimer Brothers, with high status and generous treatment. Billy stumbled into a good club during a police manhunt and met Louis. Louis handed him over to the police, and the Duke of Mortimer, who witnessed the whole process, held different views on the matter and swapped their identities and positions by way of a bet, and an absurd and unruly exchange of fates was staged. The film was nominated for Best Song at the 56th Academy Awards in 1984, Best Picture in Film-Musical Comedy and Best Actor at the 41st Golden Globe Awards in 1984.
