Triumph des Willens (1935)

In 1934, the famous German female director Leni Riefenstahl was invited to film the Victory of the will. Conceived by the Nazis and funded by the third Reich, the film documents the conferences, rallies and parades at the height of the Nazis. In order to cooperate with the shooting, the Empire provided unlimited funding, a crew of more than 100 people, countless spotlights, 16 first-class photographers, 30 cameras, 22 chauffeured cars and mobile police officers in uniform. this huge and luxurious production team, coupled with Rifenthal's genius creativity and aesthetic ideas, has provided one of the most perfect and controversial masterpieces in film history. The Victory of the will, known as "the most authoritative promotional film", won the best documentary awards at the Venice Film Festival and the Paris Film Festival in 1935.
