Millionaire George Vader (Hugh Grant Hugh Grant) relies on company lawyer Lucy Kelsen (Sandra Bullock Sandra Bullock) for food, clothing, shelter and transportation. Lucy is organized, but also a little neurotic. And Lucy fell in love with the smart, charming George. She has been helping George manage everything from costumes to divorce cases, but George said nothing. Five years later, Lucy will finally stop. George didn't want to let Lucy go at first, but finally agreed to her, but he had a request for Lucy to find someone to replace her. After searching, Lucy hires a young, beautiful and ambitious lawyer, Joan (Alicia Witt Alicia Witt). Joan was interested in her rich new boss, and George seemed attracted to her. Lucy finally got rid of George and was ready to travel at sea with her loyal boyfriend. After losing Ruth, George also seemed to have lost a close confidant, and his spiritual loss could not be filled by the active dedication of his successor. It turns out that all the things we need most are by our side, but we don't care about them all the time, and we miss the fate of our eyes.
