Uma História de Amor e Fúria (2013)

Brazilian gold medal screenwriter Ruiz Polonesi ("fuss") made an extraordinary move, directing the first feature film to bring this majestic sci-fi epic animation. The film is set in Brazil, which spans 500 years and four periods. Between history and the future, the protagonist experiences the cycle of life and death. Like animation master MiyazakiHayao, the director insists on using hand-drawn creation to bring a touch of persistence and retro color to the animation style and character styling. Selton Mello, an old friend of the Shanghai International Film Festival, and Rodrigo Santoro, the winner of the New Talent Award at the Cannes Film Festival, also contributed passionately in the film.
