Unfinished Business (2022)

In 1997, the National Basketball Association established its women's department, WNBA. The New York Freedom team is the first team in the new league, led by stars such as Rebecca Lobo and Kym Hampton. Although they achieved great success in their first year, they, like capable and high-achieving women's basketball teams, face unfair treatment ranging from homophobia to sexism, which have received more attention in the new season in 2021. The documentary shows all aspects of WNBA in detail, intertwining the league's rich but often overlooked 25-year history with the New York Freedom team's dramatic 2021 season-at a time when female athletes are generally fighting for more recognition and respect.
