In a bustling metropolis, no matter young men and women or old, weak, young and strong, an once pure heart is wantonly sunk and depraved in the materialistic world. Perhaps it is precisely because of the insatiable desire for money that people like Xin Yamada (Takeshi Yamada) have room to live, and the seemingly evil ugly island can just break the nothingness of prosperity. The beautiful girl Suzuki in the future (Yuko Oshima) is dragged down by her mother (Akira Kurosawa). In order to pay off the debt owed by ugly island, she uses her youth to make money and goes further and further on the road full of temptation. The person in charge of the activity association BUMPS, Jun Ogawa (played by Lin Jiedu), is determined to realize his dream of making a lot of money. In order to hold a large social gathering, he is tired of trapping investors everywhere. In the meantime, he borrowed money from Ugly Island, but with unknown intentions. Not long after, this group of people caught in the whirlpool of money were involved in the abyss of decay. This film is based on the cartoonist Changping Makoto's original work of the same name and is the movie version of the TV play.
