Watercolors (2008)

Danny (Tay Olsen Tye Olson) is a stranger to his current boyfriend because his paintings are always about high school lovers. First love is like a labyrinth, trapped in the past life and this life. Fifteen years ago, Danny was a shy art teenager, and his encounter with swimming prince Carter (Kyle Claire Kyle Clare) changed everything. Danny was bullied at school, and Carter was addicted to drugs and his family was unhappy. First love blooms like summer flowers in support and comfort, but no one expected to bear mournful fruit in the end. The title of the film is "watercolor". The water represents Carter who swims, and the color represents Danny who draws. "Watercolor" won the best actor in drama and the best film voted by the audience at the 2008 Los Angeles gay film festival (Outfest). "your warm smile drives away the dust of your mood.
