Like many housewives of the same age, family life brings Gloria (Carmen Mullah Carmen Maura) not warmth and happiness, but endless torture and burden, living with her husband, mother-in-law and two sons in a small, repressed room. Gloria spends every day in depression and anger. Although Gloria felt that she had done her duty as a mother, wife and daughter-in-law, her mother-in-law and husband, who complained all the time, obviously did not think so. Can children really bring hope? Gloria's scarred heart has long been numb, looking at her eldest son, who is unprofessional all day long, and the youngest son who has become a male prostitute.
