25-year-old Laura (Laura Lemsey Laura Ramsey) and a gay man from Egypt (Achmed Akkabi) are roommates and live in New York. In the restaurant where Yusuf works, Lola and Zack (Assaad Bouab), a rich family from Egypt, become good friends and gradually develop into lovers, but their relationship soon ends because of cultural differences, and Zack returns to Egypt.
