Junior high school girl Sasaki Xinnai (voiced by Gao Yue Cailiang) is so worried that she can't be calm with her adoptive mother, Raiko (voiced by Caizi Matsujima). As a result of sudden breathing while at school, Xingnai used the summer vacation to come to the beautiful Sapporo city of Hokkaido to recuperate at the home of relatives Qingzheng Dayan (dubbing Terashima) and Auntie Auntie (voiced by Genan Jiyi). In the brook not far from my uncle's house, stands an old but unique Western-style building, the wonderful feeling makes Xingnai notice its existence. One night, a depressed Xingnai rowed a boat over the building, only to find that the house that should have been uninhabited for many years was brightly lit, and there she met Marnie, a blonde girl of the same age. Similar mood makes the two girls become good friends, they are attached to each other, but do not know how incredible karma hidden in their hearts. This film is based on the children's literature of the same name by the British novelist Joan G. Robinson.
