Antonidi (Karina Lombard Karina Lombard) and brother Daniel (Ben Thomas) live a life of mutual dependence with their mother Annette (Rachel Ward Rachel Ward). Due to the great pressure of life and poor financial situation, Annette finally chooses to marry a ruthless wealthy British businessman. A slave riot took Daniel's young life.
