Xia n (1970)
The fallen scholar Gu Shengzhai (Shi Jun is acted the role of) manages the calligraphy and painting shop "writes the letter Spring Festival couplet" in the small town to make a living, feeds the family mother, accidentally met Yang Zhiyun (Xu Feng is acted the role of) who newly moved to the waste Tunpu near his home, and has a secret affection with him. Just as Ouyang Nian (Tian Peng), a member of the Dongchang factory, comes to inquire, he works with a nearby blind fortune-teller (Bai Ying), who is met by Gu Sheng and his mother, and brings the injured blind fortune-teller to Yang Zhiyun's place nearby. thus we know their true identity-Yang Huizhen, daughter of Yang Lian, the left deputy of the imperial capital Yang Lian, who was killed for impeaching eunuch Wei Zhongxian, and General Shimenqiao after defending Zhongliang. Because two people are wanted by the court, the east factory chased and killed, Gu Sheng set up a lot of tricks in Tunpu, and got the help of the eminent monk Huiyuan (Qiao Hong), in order to get rid of the east factory pursuit and escape. The film is based on the article "chivalrous woman" in Pu Songling's Strange Tales of Liaozhai.
